Fussen Technology today announced the official global launch of the Rubik X Series, the company’s newest generation of dental CBCT systems, following successful certification by both the European CE and the U.S. FDA.
This approval marks a significant milestone for Fussen, enabling the Rubik X Series to enter key global markets and setting a new benchmark in advanced dental imaging.
The Rubik X lineup includes two models—Rubik X1 and Rubik X3—designed for a wide range of clinical environments, from general dentistry to implant planning and surgery, orthodontics, and maxillofacial diagnostics.
The Rubik Series is a true 5-in-1 multifunctional CBCT platform, featuring standard modules for CT, panoramic imaging (PANO), model scanning, and facial scanning, with an optional cephalometric (CEPH) upgrade.
From implant planning and orthodontic assessment to routine diagnostics, aesthetic rehabilitation, and enhanced patient communication, a single Rubik unit delivers the full spectrum of clinical imaging capabilities. The Rubik X Series sets a new benchmark for precision dental imaging. Featuring 50 μm ultra-fine voxel resolution, optimized patient dose management, and a newly engineered 120 kV high-voltage generator, Rubik delivers consistently sharp and high-contrast images across all anatomical regions.
With a comprehensive range of flexible FOV options, the Rubik platform covers every clinical scenario—from the 5×5 cm focused FOV tailored for endodontics to the expansive stitched views of 18×20 cm on Rubik X3 (and 16×16 cm on Rubik X1) for maxillofacial, airway, and ENT assessment. A single system now supports full-spectrum diagnostics, empowering clinicians across general dentistry, implantology, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric care.
While imaging hardware remains the core of the Rubik X Series, the system is further supported by Fussen’s Dental X 2.0 platform, offering AI-enhanced analysis tools and cloud-connected workflow capabilities.
These include improved anatomical visualization, automated planning assistance, and more efficient case communication between clinics and labs.
